Cornelius Oheimb is the new CEO in the DACH region
Biesse is stepping up its global processes and investing more in the individual regions in order to be able to put the local customer even more at the center of all its efforts. As part of this evolution, Cornelius Oheimb has been responsible for the company’s activities in the DACH region as CEO since April 2023.
To strengthen the team, the Italian manufacturer has been able to recruit Cornelius Oheimb, a renowned and experienced managing director. Since April, the economist by training has been responsible for Biesse’s organization in Germany and Switzerland in the wood, glass, stone and plastics sector as head of DACH markets, which also includes covering the Austrian market for the glass and stone business. Oheimb has more than 25 years of experience in industrial service companies in a technical environment, where he has been able to apply his expertise and leadership skills, particularly in the areas of growing companies and building international teams.
“The realignment of Biesse is progressing purposefully and we are glad to have Cornelius Oheimb, an accomplished and internationally experienced manager, on board as CEO. With his analytical and efficient methodology, he stands for sustainable growth in all business areas,” says Ettore Vichi, Chief Regional Officer EMEA and APAC of the Biesse Group, looking forward to working with the new CEO. Alberto Gargamelli will actively support him as CFO – as will the previous Managing Director Jacek Pigorsch, who, after 15 years of successful management, will concentrate on his core area and, as Sales Director DACH, will in future focus his strengths entirely on sales activities. Oheimb knows that he can count on his employees and is optimistic about the future: “I’m looking forward to my new job and am enthusiastic about the excellent quality of Biesse products and the in-depth know-how of our employees – these are the best prerequisites for healthy and sustainable growth.”
