Winner of the “Plus X Award” in two categories

The “Steel Matt” metal structure from Pfleiderer, which has the appearance of brushed stainless steel, was once again recognized. After the surface material won the prestigious “Red Dot Design Award” in July of this year, it has now been presented with the “Plus X Award” – twice over. The world’s largest innovation award for technology, sport and lifestyle recognizes brands for the quality and innovative edge of their products.

In the “Building Materials” category, the “Steel Matt” composite structure was the winner, “due to its outstanding quality, which is reflected in its durability and resistance to the stresses and strains of everyday life”, according to the jury’s statement. In addition, “Steel Matt” impressed with its appearance and practicality: “Its appealing design combines aesthetics with modern elegance and thus contributes to an attractive design. The ease of use of this structure is ensured by its simple installation and maintenance, making it a practical choice for construction projects.”

As part of the “Plus X Awards” ceremony, those products that were able to impress in the most award categories within their category can also look forward to receiving the “Best Product of the Year 2023/2024” award. Pfleiderer also emerged victorious here with Steel Matt and was able to accept the prestigious special award – a double success for the filigree surface structure.
