Surprising personnel news from Thansau: Together with the Supervisory Board and the Schatt family, Roland Auer announces his resignation as CEO of Schattdecor SE effective July 15, 2024. The decision was made at his own request and for personal reasons.

After more than 30 years with the surface specialist, this was not an easy decision, which he made with the support of his family and the Supervisory Board. Over the past three decades, Roland Auer has made a significant contribution to the further development and internationalization of the company. His services to Schattdecor Poland and his work as Chairman of the Management Board since 2017 also deserve special mention, according to the Supervisory Board and the Schatt family, who thanked him for his tireless efforts and assured him of their full support.

Internally, the company has taken extensive measures to ensure a smooth transition and guarantee the continuity of business operations. Dr. Derick Beitel, Chief Financial Officer of the Group, becomes Spokesman of the Executive Board. Claudia Küchen, Board Member for Design, Marketing, Communication and Décor Management, will take over the HR division. The Supervisory Board appoints Robert Vuga, who has been part of the Group for 24 years and was Managing Director in Russia and Turkey, as the new Chief Sales Officer.
