Positive omens just under a year before the next issue
The world’s leading trade fair for industrial coating technology is already registering a very good number of registrations one year before the start of the next edition. From April 9 to 12, 2024, “Paintexpo” will once again be the global showcase for the latest trends in painting. The who’s who of the painting technology industry is represented in Karlsruhe.
With around 430 exhibitors from 27 countries and over 9,000 trade visitors from 57 countries, “Paintexpo” got off to a successful start in 2022 – after the pandemic-related break. More than every third exhibitor traveled from abroad. On the visitor side, a large number of top decision-makers or specialists and executives were on site in Karlsruhe: for example, around 90 percent of visitors to the past “Paintexpo” have an influence on investment decisions in their companies.
Preparations for “Paintexpo” 2024 are in full swing: already one year before the start of the trade show, around 250 companies have registered and more than 70 percent of the exhibition space of the previous event has been rented. “The response from the industry is great. This makes it clear that the event is very well positioned and a must-attend event for the industry. In April of next year, it will once again become a global showcase for innovations and future technologies, but also for very practical, manageable solutions relating to industrial coating technology,” explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. Registration information is available on the “Paintexpo” website.
At the world’s leading trade show, global market and technology leaders as well as innovative medium-sized companies will present their latest products and applications from the field of industrial coating technology in three exhibition halls. Important industry players from Germany and abroad such as Axalta, DeFelsko, Dürr, Eisenmann, FreiLacke, Gema Switzerland, J. Wagner, Krautzberger, Louis Schierholz, Nordson, PPG and Venjakob are among them. In addition, interesting new exhibitors could also be convinced by the trade show concept: Among others, the Turkish supplier for cleaning and pretreatment technology Mitsuda as well as the specialist for heating industrial containers Neybo will present their range of services for the first time at the “Paintexpo” in Karlsruhe.
The upcoming edition of the trade show also has a lot to offer internationally: Most exhibitors come from Western European countries – in addition to Germany, especially from Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain. However, companies from Turkey or Greece, for example, have already secured their stands. The proportion of international exhibitors is – as of today – around 40 percent.
With its exhibitors’ products and services, “Paintexpo” covers the entire spectrum of industrial painting. Next year, the spectrum will again range from solutions for surface treatment, to paints and coating systems or powder and powder coating systems, to quality assurance. The industry platform bundles coating solutions for all industries, applications and materials – whether wet painting, powder coating or coil coating.
