Like almost all trade fair companies, Messe Frankfurt has had to step back from many events. For example, the trade fair double “Texprocess” and “Techtextil” this May, which had even been planned for a few months as a “trade fair triple” with a relocated “Heimtextil”. Only to then completely “fall victim” to the worldwide Corona pandemic.

The worsening pandemic situation, the current ban on trade fairs in Germany and the continuing international travel restrictions have led the Hessians to postpone “Techtextil” and “Texprocess” and to cancel “Heimtextil” for 2021.

But the focus is on the future: the date for the next “Techtextil” and “Texprocess” in Frankfurt has already been set for June 21-24, 2022. Which is at the same time an innovation, because with the shift to 2022, both trade fairs will change their trade fair rhythm for the next edition and permanently switch to even years. Which means at the same time that interested parties from the furniture industry and above all exhibitors of this sector no longer have to make a balancing act with an “Interzum” often running in parallel in Cologne.

For 2024, a new trade fair date has already been set for April 9 to 12.
