This is what the future of retail looks like
The world’s leading trade fair for the investment needs of retailers, the “Euroshop 2020”, came to a successful close after five days on February 20 in Düsseldorf: Around 2,300 exhibitors from 57 nations reported very good contacts and business deals. Lively post-fair business is also expected. 94,000 visitors informed themselves about products, trends and concepts for the trade and its partners.
At the pulse of the industry: “We are very pleased that ‘Euroshop’ has once again proved that it is the most important platform for the global retail scene in terms of trends, inspiration and networking. Our exhibitors deserve high praise for their loyalty. With their innovative strength they were once again the magnet for an entire industry,” says Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf, very satisfied with the course of ‘Euroshop 2020’.
The exhibitors praised above all the high level of internationality of the trade fair. Around 70 per cent of the audience came from abroad this year. Large delegations came from Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, for example. In total, with 142 countries on the visitor side, the number of nations represented increased once again compared to the previous event in 2017.
