The “Xylexpo” will be postponed and will not take place as planned from 26 to 29 May. The fair is to be made up for in the second half of the year, but an exact date has not yet been fixed. “We waited as long as we could, hoping that the situation would return to normal,” said Lorenzo Primultini, President of Acimall and the exhibition, at the end of the board meeting. “We hope that the effects of the coronavirus will be clearer by the end of May but unfortunately we cannot say when this emergency at a global level will be over and, above all, we cannot predict its impact on the industrial system and supply chains of the wood and furniture technology industry”.
