“First board” was the motto at Egger in Rambersvillers, France, for the fourth short-cycle press “KT 700” which the Group has ordered from Siempelkamp so far.

In February 2018 Egger and Siempelkamp signed the contract for the new delivery of the high-performance short-cycle press for the coating of particle boards. The new short-cycle plant is a replacement investment for an old short-cycle press built in 1993 and includes a multi-piston short-cycle press “KT 700” including raw board and finished board handling with the corresponding automation.

With the newly delivered short-cycle press, Egger is expanding its product range at the Rambervillers location in terms of coating technology by an essential component due to the many special products.
