Strengthens its presence in Brazil with a new headquarter
The Biesse Group is strengthening its international presence by opening a new headquarters in Curitiba, Brazil, in the state of Paranà – a market where it already offers machines for processing glass and stone – and is now expanding its product range there to include woodworking machines.
With these investments in resources and competencies in Brazil, the Italians aim to get even closer to customers and their needs, while exploring growth opportunities in other South American countries.
The Group, which has been operating in the wood machinery sector for over 50 years, has been involved in Brazil since 1987. From its headquarters in São Paulo, now integrated into the Curitiba center, Biesse has directly served the glass and stone industries through its Intermac and Diamut brands.
The new Curitiba location has a showroom of more than 1,300 m², where customers will have the opportunity to get to know Biesse and see live demonstrations of its machines for processing wood, glass, stone and advanced materials. Customers will also have access to a team of experts to help them make informed decisions. There is a newly equipped after-sales service and dedicated training rooms.
Internationalization is one of the main drivers of the Biesse Group and has always characterized the company’s development. With 39 subsidiaries in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle and Far East, Asia and Oceania, Biesse is committed to constantly improving the service it provides to its customers, offering comprehensive coverage and a good local presence.
As part of the internationalization strategy, which focuses on expanding the international network, there will also be new offices in Israel and Japan, strengthening the Group’s presence in these strategic markets.
