After the relaxation and positive developments of recent weeks, the organisers of “Paintexpo” are now planning to hold the fair from 12 to 15 October 2020: “Due to the postponement from April to October, there have been some cancellations by exhibitors due to scheduling problems, but more than 500 exhibiting companies from Germany and abroad will be represented in Karlsruhe,” reports Jürgen Haußmann, Managing Director of the private fair organiser Fairfair GmbH. “We are very pleased that exhibitors and visitors as well as partners now have planning security again”.

The trade fair organiser and his team consider themselves well prepared for the event. Together with Messe Karlsruhe and the relevant state and local authorities, a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept for maximum health protection for exhibitors and visitors will be developed, which can be adapted to current conditions at any time. “Among other things, the concept ensures that there is at least four square metres of space per visitor, even on busy days,” adds Jürgen Haußmann. A further aspect is the exclusive online ticket sale or the online redemption and registration of admission vouchers. “In accordance with the security concept, day ticket offices are not provided,” the organizer notes.

With their range of products and services, the exhibitors completely cover the process chains for wet painting, powder coating and coil coating. Areas such as digital transformation, solutions for automation and simplified robot programming, the improvement of energy and resource efficiency or even the metallization of surfaces are just some of the topics that will be in the spotlight. The world’s leading trade fair thus enables contract coaters and in-house coating companies from all sectors to obtain specific information about new developments, trends and technologies for coating components and substrates made of all materials. At the same time, the world’s leading trade fair is the ideal opportunity to exchange information and network – among other things, to make possibly fragile supply chains more stable and sustainable.
