At the end of this year, Flavio Lufchitz, Managing Director of Schattdecor do Brasil, will retire. From January 2022, the Brazilian site will be jointly managed by Sandra Mohr Ludwig (Sales, Design, Marketing and Communication), Gerson Aldo de Souza (Production and Engineering) and Carla Mendes (Finance, Human Resources and Administration).

“With Flavio Lufchitz, we are saying goodbye to an experienced Schattdecor and industry man in retirement,” said Roland Auer, CEO of Schattdecor AG. “He has contributed to our success in the Latin American market and successfully accompanied our positive development on site. Today, we proudly look at two state-of-the-art, progressive locations, which, thanks to the new management, are well prepared for the future. We are losing a colleague of many years, but have gained a loyal friend in Flavio. We wish him nothing but the best in his retirement.”

Lufchitz spent much of his more than 35-year national and international career in the decor paper industry. After serving as director of production and engineering, he assumed overall management of Schattdecor do Brasil in 2017. In addition to increasing production capacity in printed décor papers and acquiring and integrating and modernizing the impregnation plant, his greatest achievements as managing director at Schattdecor include implementing growth plans in Latin America. He focused on participative management based on the corporate philosophy and continuous progress oriented towards the customer. Thanks to numerous sustainable investments by Flavio Lufchitz, the site is well prepared for the future when the new management takes over.
