Honored with 2021 Business Award

The annual award of the city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück is given for particularly outstanding entrepreneurial achievements.

Venjakob has long been considered a contender for the business award, as the company repeatedly makes a strong case for the business location and enjoys a reputation as an outstanding employer and top innovator.

This year, the title of the award “Now more than ever!” also fitted the company perfectly. So, the laudator Dr. Heiner Wortmann, at the award ceremony. Because, despite the circumstances caused by the pandemic, Venjakob has stuck to the planned expansion of the Rheda-Wiedenbrück site and has invested around 8 million euros in new buildings etc. In addition, the managing directors of the Venjakob Group have for decades demonstrated a sense for the right balance between the courage to take risks and carefully thought-out strategic thinking and action.
