From Bega to Nolte kitchens

And it goes on for Rüdiger Schliekmann – obviously the Bega Group was not the last address in his career after all. Schliekmann was with Nobilia for just under 15 years, moving to machine manufacturer Ima Klessmann in 2008, first as managing director and later as managing partner. From there, it was not quite two years to the Horstmann Group before the manager found a new home at the Bega Group in Lügde. In October 2020, he took over the management of the holding company there for the last time, together with Thorsten and Dieter Hilpert and, since one year, Niko Johns. It was planned that Dieter Hilpert would withdraw from operational activities thanks to this constellation. That’s not going to happen, at least not in this constellation. Schliekmann has resigned, his path leads him back to the kitchen furniture industry – back to the roots…

After more than thirteen years of a very successful collaboration, Marc Hogrebe, long-time technical managing director at Nolte Küchen and Express Küchen, and the Nolte Group have agreed to part ways as of June 30, 2023, at Hogrebe’s request. Schliekmann succeeds him as Managing Director Technology.

Hogrebe took up his position with the Nolte Group in November 2009 at the then newly founded Express Küchen GmbH & Co. KG and was responsible for setting up the plant and implementing the plant development planning. At the beginning of 2015, he also took over the technical management of Nolte Küchen. The “Technology 2025 Strategy” developed by him set the course for the technical alignment of the plants in Löhne and Bruchmühlen with a view to replacement and expansion investments. The measures for which he is responsible have played a major role in the successful product range and sales development of both companies.

Schliekmann will take office on June 1, 2023. He complements the management team consisting of Melanie Thomann-Bopp and Heiko Maibach (sales management Express Küchen).

Melanie Thomann-Bopp, who initially took over sales and marketing at Nolte Kitchens on an interim basis following the departure of Eckhard Wefing last summer, will now assume full responsibility for these areas in addition to the commercial department.

Georg Konrad Nolte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Nolte Group, acknowledges the great services that Marc Hogrebe has rendered to the companies Nolte Küchen and Express Küchen in recent years. On behalf of the Advisory Board and the family, he expressly thanks him for his dedication and commitment and wishes him all the best for the future.

Georg Konrad Nolte adds: “At the same time, we are pleased that we have succeeded in filling the vacant position of Technical Managing Director again competently with Mr. Schliekmann, thus ensuring a smooth transition. We wish him a good start and are convinced that the management team will continue together on the successfully chosen growth path.”
