First presence kitchen fair since the beginning of the pandemic?
Originally planned for April 2021, “Sadecc” was postponed to June due to the development of the Corona pandemic in France. The still worrying situation and the inability to plan – both for visitors and exhibitors – forced the organisers to postpone the event again at the beginning of the year.
Now it’s official: “Sadecc” will take place from 1 to 4 October 2021 at the Paris “Porte de Versailles” exhibition centre. And there is another piece of news: the fair will move from Hall 7.1 to the ultra-modern Hall 6, which was inaugurated in November 2019. By confirming these dates, the organising team led by Eglantyne Verriès has ensured that “Sadecc” will be the first major event for the kitchen industry in France since the outbreak of the crisis. With this date, the “Sadecc”, the only French trade fair dedicated entirely to the world of fitted kitchens, will take on a whole new symbolic meaning, because according to the organisers, it is already a must-attend event.
Under the motto “Furnish your future”, “Sadecc” will gather for four days the main players of the market and thousands of professional visitors in a convivial atmosphere, without forgetting hygienic safety, which will still certainly be necessary and legitimate. Trade visitors will get the chance, after long months of abstinence, to discover the novelties in all sectors, from furniture to electrical appliances, equipment and accessories to software and services, in order to renew their offer to the final consumer. But also to make themselves fit for changing market requirements.
“We are delighted to be able to host ‘Sadecc’ from 1 to 4 October 2021 in the brand new Hall 6 of the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris. The decision to postpone the show once again from June to October was not an easy one. But for us, the priority is to offer our exhibitors and visitors the best conditions. October is a better time. So ‘Sadecc’ is the first major national event for the kitchen industry since the crisis broke out. We are also preparing an appropriate programme, which we will present in detail shortly”, says Eglantyne Verriès, director of “Sadecc”.
