Celebrates 55th company anniversary
Anniversary in Switzerland: In 1966, Ernst Kaindl, who passed away in 2017, founded AG für Holzindustrie in Menznau, Lucerne. 55 years later, this original trading location has developed into a group of companies for ecological wood-based materials of international significance. The Swiss site is the parent plant of the Swiss Krono Group and today exports its products to more than 90 countries. Here, around 480 people work to produce innovative quality wood materials “Made in Switzerland” every day using state-of-the-art production facilities and to market them worldwide.
In 2021, the Swiss company will celebrate its 55th anniversary. For this reason, Swiss Krono is offering a look into its company archives every month, showing how the site has changed in over half a century.
With impressive old photos and new shots, for example of the administration building, trends, advertising material, transport logistics or production facilities, the wood-based materials manufacturer takes all interested parties on a journey through 55 years of company history.
