Big appearance for kitchens ‘Made in Germany’ and suppliers in Las Vegas: For the fourth time in a row, the German kitchen industry is presenting its innovations at a joint stand at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the most important industry show for kitchens and bathrooms in North America with more than 670 exhibitors. The event started on February 25 and runs until February 27, 2025.

Jan Kurth, Managing Director of the German Furniture Industry Associations (VDM/VHK), is extremely satisfied with the start: “The frequency and quality of visitors on the first day of the fair were pleasingly high.” Volker Irle, Managing Director of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche (AMK), notes: “The innovations of the German kitchen industry are meeting with great interest from American architects and interior designers.” North America is an attractive growth market for the German kitchen industry. Last year, German kitchen furniture exports to the United States – the largest export market outside Europe – increased by 13 percent to around 50 million euros.

Fifteen German kitchen furniture manufacturers and suppliers will be exhibiting at the joint German stand, which has once again been organized in cooperation between AMK and VDM. In addition, the German Pavilion is also home to the information stand of the Federal Government, which is promoting German joint participation.

Kitchen furniture manufacturers Ballerina, Bauteam, Häcker and Nobilia, kitchen suppliers and service providers Blanco, Elektra, Hettich, Imos, Kesseböhmer, Verband der Deutschen Möbelindustrie e.V. (VDM), Kirchhoff and Vauth-Sagel, bathroom and sanitary specialists A. u. K. Müller, Badeloft and Christiani Wassertechnik as well as TÜV Rheinland will be exhibiting at the joint German stand. The trade fair will once again be accompanied by a delegation trip organized by the AMK for member companies.

Further German joint stands in the furniture and furnishings sector are planned this year at Clerkenwell Design Week in London and the Index/Hotel Show in Dubai.
