Starting tomorrow, the Italians will be going digital
Three days full of novelties and innovations in the processing of wood and other materials - this is what the BiesseGroup promises from tomorrow until Friday 26 June. "E-vent: Digital In Action" is the name of the digital event during which the Italians will offer training webinars and live demonstrations via an innovative digital platform. On the agenda are important innovations in technology, software and training activities, all in all the result of continuous investment in innovation, research and development and training.
According to Biesse, the first online edition of "E-vent: Digital in Action" will be an innovative encounter, focusing on training combined with live demonstrations: On the virtual stage, there will be courses on cutting, nesting, wood construction and edge processing with more detailed information on certification for antibacterially effective boards, as well as a section on "modern materials", where, for example, the use of transparent materials is discussed.
A further focus is on "Automaction" and "Smartaction", both concepts based on digitalisation, which have been developed in recent years to meet the requirements of large industrial customers on the one hand to secure and increase production output, and on the other to meet the needs of small and medium-sized companies.
"Biesse offers companies and players concrete tools to revive business activities by exploiting the opportunities and advantages of Industry 4.0. E-vent: Digital in Action is a comprehensive response to the need to keep our customers up to date and trained," says Federico Broccoli, Chief Commercial and Subsidiaries Officer Machinery and Tooling. "We have embarked on a new path to continue to contribute to the success of our customers around the world and to offer everyone the best possible support and service. I really invite our customers to seize this opportunity and benefit from Biesse's experience. "E-vent" offers seminars and training courses on topics that are relevant to a great number of woodworkers, such as new trends in the world of design, materials and fittings or tooling, which are then combined with technical and customer-specific demonstrations on our machines," concludes Broccoli.
"We
are facing a cultural change that will affect our marketing strategies and the
way we use the various means of communication. We have therefore changed our
strategy to better serve customers around the world," explains Raphaël
Prati, Corporate Marketing Communications Director. "That's why we're
launching Digital Arena, a new online platform that will become a permanent
archive of digital content for users around the world: a digital meeting place
where you can keep up to date with the latest industry news and watch videos
anytime. The platform will be our 'digital site', a virtual campus that in the
physical world corresponds to our showrooms and presence campus, which our customers
visit when they want to learn more about our solutions," Prati continues.
"Digital Arena' is the interactive portal for the digital events of
Biesse, Intermac and Diamut. Visitors can participate in webinars and watch
live demonstrations. A digital place dedicated to the processing of wood,
glass, stone and modern materials, a place to share content, stimulate the
exchange of ideas and initiate discussions," explains Prati.
