Becomes Official Sponsor of the ATP Tennis Tournament "Gerry Weber Open"

The Meller office furniture manufacturer Assmann is now official sponsor of the "Gerry Weber Open" in Halle/Westphalia, one of the most traditional ATP lawn tennis tournaments in Europe. The sponsoring commitment includes perimeter advertising and logo presence in the stadium and around the annual tennis tournament in June. Assmann's goal is to further expand its own brand awareness in Germany and Europe in the coming years. "The 'Gerry Weber Open' right on our doorstep is an ideal component of our brand strategy. Due to the top-class field of participants, the tournament attracts a very high level of attention and TV relevance in all European media genres. It is a sports event that is very popular with families and all age groups. Some of the world's best tennis players compete here, including Roger Federer, currently third in the ATP World Ranking, and the reigning German tennis world champion Alexander Zverev.
