HotCoating is an advanced technology in furniture construction that enables robust, durable and aesthetically pleasing surfaces. The coating material usually consists of reactive polyurethanes or acrylates. These materials are heated to a high temperature to bring them to a liquid state.
After application, the coating is immediately cured by UV light or other curing processes. This rapid curing results in a robust, scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant surface.
