HPL Verfahren

The High Pressure Laminate (HPL) process is a manufacturing process for boards that is carried out under high pressure and high temperature in a press. Several layers of resin-impregnated paper or other materials are placed on top of each other in predetermined, identical dimensions. The pressing of the layers creates a dense, hard-wearing panel with a resistant surface. The materials are durable and scratch resistant and are available in a wide range of colours, designs and textures, making them a popular choice for a variety of applications.
