The figures for this first edition prove that we are on the right track with our concept and have successfully responded to the market’s demand for an event every two years – alternating with interzum in Cologne. The interzum forum italy stood out not only for the quality and diversity of the exhibitors, but also for the particular focus on the very topical issues addressed in the various presentations and forums, including sustainability and innovation.”<\/p>\n\n One focus of the event concept was the comprehensive and carefully curated conference program. The event kicked off with the panel discussion “Business Outlook. Global Innovation and Local Production: the Evolving Materials, Technologies and Furniture Market: Global Innovation – Local Production. Market developments for materials, technologies and furniture”. The panelists were Lorenzo Tavazzi, J\u00f6rg Buck, Edi Snaidero, Alessandra Tracogna, Piero Paganoni, Roger Reichert and Alfonso Tentori. With the Trend Talk, the Trend Stage and the Product Stage, the conference program took place in three cross-segment formats – 60 speakers from Italy and around the world presented their visions for the design of living spaces in 30 individual events and talked about the latest trends, materials, surfaces and production processes. Sustainability and ecology issues were a particular focus. The conference offered participants a unique opportunity to gain an up-to-date overview of current developments in the supply and value chains not only in the traditional residential sector, but also in the contract sectors for the hotel industry, yacht and ship fitting, motorhomes and the automotive industry in general. <\/p>\n\n The first-ever presentation of the interzum forum italy award, in which seven companies were honored in the two categories Innovation and ESG & Sustainability, was also very well received.
