Weinig AG, according to its own statements the leading technology provider for the wood and wood-based materials processing industry and the skilled trades, is getting a new CFO.<\/p>\n
At its last meeting, the supervisory board appointed the 47-year-old Axel Steiger as successor to CFO Gerald Schmidt. Alongside CEO Gregor Baumbusch and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Mario Kordt, Axel Steiger will be responsible for finance and accounting as CFO.<\/p>\n
Steiger is married and has one child. After training as a banker and studying business administration with a degree in business administration FH, Steiger was employed in various internationally operating companies, most recently as CFO of a global manufacturer of rigid films. He will take up his post on July 1, 2020.<\/p>\n
