PET films

PET films are made of polyethylene terephthalate, a thermoplastic polyester known for its high strength, durability and chemical resistance. These films are often used in furniture construction to create decorative and protective surfaces on wood-based materials such as MDF (medium density fibreboard), chipboard and HDF (high density fibreboard).
PET films are extremely resistant to mechanical stresses such as scratches, impacts and abrasion. Due to its robustness, processing is comparatively very simple. Polyethylene terephthalate is also fully recyclable.
