Nino Speranza worked at Schattdecor from 2003 to 2021. He spent the first part of his time there in overseas sales, focusing on South America. The second part was as Export/Sales Manager for Central Europe.

Philipp Keisker holds a Master of Science in Sales Management. He began his training and studies at Felix Schoeller in 2010, where he started as Customer Service Manager Photo Imaging in 2013. He then switched to sales in 2016, where he worked as Area Sales Manager and Key Account Manager Technocell decor, among other things. Since 2021, Keisker has held deputy segment responsibility (sales, technology, colouristics) for Decor EMEA with a focus on solid colour management. Appointed Head of Innovation in 2026, Philipp Keisker leads strategic innovation and future-ready surface development.

Accomplished business developer, truly multicultural, with international experience in design & strategic product development.With a background in textile engineering, her career expands over several industries including market leaders in fashion brands like HUGO BOSS, decor design like SCHATTDECOR, texture development and digital printing at JANOSCHKA. Since 2014, Nadia is global design manager at the casting and release paper division of Sappi.

Cristian Giovannini ist Prozessanwendungsmanager bei Cefla Finishing, wo er seit über 22 Jahren tätig ist und langjährige Erfahrung im Bereich industrieller Veredelungstechnologien gesammelt hat.

Zuvor war er als Produktmanager für Sprühbeschichtungs- und Trocknungstechnologien tätig und leitete Produktentwicklungs- und Technologieinitiativen mit Schwerpunkt auf fortschrittlichen Sprühbeschichtungssystemen und Trocknungslösungen. In dieser Funktion spielte er eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Förderung von Innovationen zur Verbesserung der Produktivität, Flexibilität und Nachhaltigkeit für Kunden.

Heute arbeitet Cristian als Process Application Manager an der Schnittstelle zwischen Technologie, Werkstoffen und Produktionsprozessen und unterstützt Kunden bei der Definition und Optimierung maßgeschneiderter Veredelungslösungen.

Sandro Marini is an architect and designer with a master’s degree in communication and media relations. More than 25 years of experience in packaging, high-tech, design, retail and furnishing materials for international companies. Since 2010, he is the Corporate Communications Manager and Art Director of Arpa Industriale. He develops exhibition, branding and communication projects such as the one dedicated to FENIX® innovative materials for interiors design, an open system that creates value in the world of architecture and interior design. Launched in 2013, FENIX has won numerous recognitions including “Best of the Best” Interzum Design Award, Honorable Mention ADI Compasso d’Oro and “Best of Best” Iconic Awards. He is currently Communication and Art Director of Musa, the creative lab, communications, and design hub for the brands of Broadview Materials (Arpa, FENIX, Formica, Homapal, Getacore).

In 2025 Ana Maria Plata Salazar joined Munksjö as the head of colors and design. She brings her extensive expertise in color, material, and finish to further advance the solid color decor paper business while delivering exceptional value to customers. Ana Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. With over 20 years of experience, she has an impressive track record in design. Ana Maria has worked with renowned companies such as Primadera, and Lamitech, where she showcased exceptional leadership in design and communication strategies, transforming global trends into high-performance material collections.

With a Master’s degree in Textile Design and early career steps in the carpet and flooring industry, I have worked in the decor sector for over 25 years, initially at a decor printing company, and later as International Design Director at one of the leading HPL manufacturers. Since 2022, I run my own design studio, offering decor, colour, finish and range development for the decor industry worldwide.

Karl Barucki studied Plasma Physics at Chemnitz University of Technology and graduated in 1996 with a thesis on optical emission spectroscopy. He subsequently worked as a scientist at the Wilhelm Ostwald Institute at the University of Leipzig and at the Institute for Surface Modification (IOM). In 1998, IOT GmbH is founded as a spin-off of the IOM Leipzig. Mr Barucki joined to IOT some months later in 1999 as employee number 02 to support the grow of this young spin-off. Since 2021, he has been Sales Manager and Authorised Signatory at IOT GmbH.

Michela Avancini has been part of the Schattdecor team since 1997, working as a designer at the Rosate site in Italy. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to broaden her professional horizons and now also handles communications and marketing. She is part of Schattdecor’s International Design Team, constantly on the lookout for trends in the world of interior design and beyond, proposing contemporary, clear and sustainable solutions.

Sinem Degerli Piatek led the design department at Schattdecor Turkey from 2011 to 2021. She then founded her own venture, SD Studio Design, providing consultancy and innovative design solutions, and later served as Head of Design and Creative Operations at Splendecor, managing global projects. In September 2024, she joined Interprint Arnsberg as Head of Design South Europe, and in October 2025, she was promoted to International Director of Design.
Throughout her career, Sinem has focused on closely analyzing local demands and cultural nuances. This experience, combined with everything she has learned in her professional journey, has been invaluable in her current role, enabling her to create solutions that are globally coherent while still meaningful and relevant for each market. Ensuring that Interprint’s creative work is both globally relevant and culturally sensitive means that designs are not only visually appealing but also resonate appropriately in every market. By understanding cultural codes, local trends, and consumer expectations, Sinem ensures that her work is effective, respectful, and impactful wherever it is used.

A graduate in Chemistry, he has been with Vinavil SpA—a leading Italian company in the field of polymer science—for 30 years, where he headed the Adhesives, Textiles, and Specialty Polymers Department. Since 2017, he has served as Head of Strategic Marketing for Adhesives and Specialty Polymers. He actively contributes to the development and standardization of adhesives for various applications within CEN Working Group 12 of TC 193/SC1, “Adhesives for Non-Load-Bearing Timber Structures,” and ISO TC61/SC11/WG5 “Polymeric Adhesives.” In addition, he coordinates the national technical group for standardization activities related to adhesives at UNI/Unichim and chairs the wood and furniture adhesives sector at Federchimica/AVISA.

A mechanical engineer, he has worked at Catas for over twenty years, first as head of the “Mechanical Testing Department” and, since 2020, as head of the entire mechanical division. He is also one of Catas’s most active experts in technical standards committees, particularly in the fields of wood, adhesives, and panels for the furniture industry.

Since 1998, he has participated in the European working groups on wood adhesives (TC193) and, for the past 10 years, in the PVC windows group and the Adhesives and Sealants Group of Avisa – Federchimica.

Professional with more than twenty years of experience in the industrial and commercial sector, born in Verbania in 1978 and graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. He began his professional career in June 2004 at Sesa SpA as a Technical & Sales Engineer in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
Since 2019, he has been working at Hueck Rheinische GmbH as Area Sales Manager for Italy, Turkey, Asia, and Australia, gaining extensive international experience in business development and export market management. Although working for a German company, he still lives in Italy, in the beautiful setting of Lake Maggiore.
Among his personal interests, he has a strong passion for sports, particularly basketball, which he practices at a recreational level. In the past, he also served as a national-level basketball referee. He is also passionate about traveling: while frequent business trips are part of his professional life, he has always enjoyed exploring new countries, discovering different cultures, and building connections with people from around the world.
