Cancellations

Cancellations between four and two weeks prior to the event will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice amount. In case of cancellation later than two weeks before the event or non-participation without prior cancellation, the full participation fee is payable. However, it is possible to nominate a substitute person at any time. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing and will be confirmed by the organizer. If a participant can demonstrably not travel due to travel restrictions, there is the option to convert the face-to-face participation into a digital participation if a digital replacement event is offered.

The participant is obliged to follow the instructions of the organizer and the venue. Violations may result in exclusion from the event.

The organizer reserves the right to change the program or to cancel the event in case of special circumstances (important reason). In particular, the organizer is entitled to such measures in cases of force majeure, due to official orders, in the event of a situation endangering the life, body or health of the participants. In these cases, the organizer is not obligated to pay damages and/or reimbursement of expenses to the participants. This applies in particular to any cancellation fees incurred by third parties (e.g. hotel bookings, train or airline tickets).
