Since 2002, the Viennese company Salon Iris has been working exclusively for Fundermax as an external service provider for the realization of individual prints. Salon Iris specializes in high-quality prints on complex materials. This area of expertise has now been integrated into the Fundermax Group. With the “Individual Decor Center”, Fundermax offers everything to do with individual decor “in-house”.

“Fundermax and Salon Iris have been an excellent team for many years and enable customers to realize their individual panel designs for all kinds of applications. We are very pleased that we have been able to take over Salon Iris’ profession and experience in this area and can now offer our own in-house competence area for individual printing with the Fundermax Individual Decor Center,” says Gernot Schöbitz, Managing Director and company spokesperson for Fundermax.

Some of the most important qualities of Fundermax are manifested in custom printing: robustness and durability, design standards and customizability. Custom printing is available for classic HPL high-pressure laminates as well as for Max Compact Interior and Exterior panels. This diversity makes it possible to find the right solution for every application, be it for façade cladding, furniture design or individual interior design.

The implementation requires a special digital printing process that differs from classic printing methods such as offset or gravure printing and enables a high degree of flexibility in the design and implementation of individual decors.

With the integration and opening of the Fundermax Individual Decor Center, the expertise for the entire production cycle of individual prints is now located directly in-house. This includes consulting and joint optimization of the designs, digital processing, pre-press and production of the individual decors.

The employees for this area moved seamlessly from Salon Iris to Fundermax. The premises at the Wiener Neudorf plant have also created optimal conditions for the in-house production of customized printing plates and have been integrated into the new showroom, which can be visited during factory tours.
