Sees itself well positioned for 2025
From January 12 to 16, 2025, “Imm Cologne” will once again take place in Cologne. Now that the Early Bird bookings have been completed, companies can secure their regular participation in the international interior trade fair. With its new formats, Koelnmesse has the right package for every exhibitor. So that the world of furnishing can come together in the Rhine metropolis – from innovative start-ups to traditional medium-sized companies.
Companies from 35 countries – particularly from Germany and Denmark – have already made their decision: in January 2025, they will present their latest ideas and creations in Cologne and network with industry experts from all over the world under the guiding theme of “Connecting Communities”. “With Connecting Communities, we developed a theme last year that fits perfectly with the times,” says Bernd Sanden, Director of Imm Cologne at Koelnmesse. “We will fill this central theme with relevant content and new offers in a meaningful and innovative way – that is what characterizes our planning.”
The trade fair concept “The Circles” brings the essence of the main theme to life: the diverse Circles will once again provide inspiring design presentations in 2025. Exciting presentations provide impulses for the trends of tomorrow and gastronomy zones invite you to exchange ideas. Themes such as sustainability and circularity underline the trade fair’s claim to address the issues of the day. At the joint summit of the German Furniture Industry Association, the Federal Association of the German Furniture, Kitchen and Furnishing Trade and Koelnmesse, the status quo of the industry will be discussed – and then celebrated. The Circles are content and event platforms as well as interactive places to meet, network and exchange ideas.
“With the Circles, we have established an innovative trade fair format this year. We are building on this and pursuing our new course. We will provide surprises in several places and intensify the dialog between professionals,” says Dick Spierenburg, Creative Director of “Imm Cologne”. “At the same time, we have put the offers for exhibitors to the test and readjusted them. Trade fairs are changing, and as Imm Cologne, we want to live up to our pioneering role here too.”
In concrete terms, this means that formats for every market requirement are available in the exhibition and special areas – with even more individual exhibition offerings and low-threshold participation opportunities. In addition to the classic trade fair stand, which can once again be booked in all sizes and variants in 2025, Koelnmesse has developed different variants, such as the Interior Platform, where companies can book a design-oriented, open complete stand as a package. Everything is included in the booking, even the marketing package for additional attention. With the Pure Galleries, “Imm Cologne” is aimed at furnishing brands with high demands on their brand identity. The compact, creative concept gives the high-end Pure range a new, exciting and inspiring appearance.
New concepts, new approaches, new formats. But one thing will not change, as Bernd Sanden assures us: “The industry’s products and innovations will once again be the stars of ‘Imm Cologne’ in 2025. And we are already looking forward to that.”
