Organizes a virtual fair at the end of October
The International Woodworking Fair (“IWF”) was supposed to have been held in Atlanta from August 25 to 28 – and, like almost all other events this year, was cancelled due to the global corona pandemic. As a replacement, the organizers in America have now come up with a new concept: From Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30, there will be a virtual show. The “IWF Connect”.
“,IWF Connect’ is the brand new virtual trade fair without walls, which offers unlimited possibilities to the woodworking industry. For five consecutive days in October, ‘IWF Connect’ will bring participants and exhibitors together in a virtual market week, where the latest products, technologies, innovations and solutions of the global woodworking industry will be presented in an easy-to-navigate online world,” the American organizers say.
Exhibitors at the online trade fair “IWF Connect” benefit from direct access to a large audience from the woodworking industry and can individually design a virtual trade fair showcase with images, videos, brochures, press releases and links. In addition, they can put a picture gallery online to promote new products separately. Contact with visitors to the virtual trade fair is made directly via virtual business cards and e-mail, and all “stand visitors” are recorded. In addition to this offer there is a platform for live demonstrations, question-and-answer sessions and to give show specials a home. If interested, social media and webinars can be integrated.
Visitors to “IWF Connect” will receive free access after registration, and can then communicate directly with exhibitors via live chat and virtual meetings. They can participate in live demonstrations or follow webinars. Special prices are available for certain products via “IWF Connect” and with the “My IWF Connect” exhibition planner, this unique experience can be planned very personally.
Exhibitors are already in the process of designing their new showrooms, and participant registration begins on September 1.
