Opens office in Turkey

Dieffenbacher has opened an office in Turkey. Işık Zorcu has been appointed project manager for regional business development.

Zorcu is well known in the Turkish wood-based materials industry. He has a technical education in mechanical engineering and many years of experience through his work for various wood-based material manufacturers. Işık Zorcu started his professional career in 2001 as a maintenance engineer at Kastamonu Entegre. There he later also supported the investment department. In 2012, he joined AGT and became part of the project team responsible for building the company’s first MDF plant in Antalya. After the successful completion of this project, Işık Zorcu was promoted to project manager for AGT’s second MDF line at the same site in 2018.

With the ongoing assembly of the new overall MDF line at Camsan Ordu, and with the expectation that the Turkish wood-based materials market will continue to grow, Dieffenbacher has decided to strengthen its operations in Turkey. Building on previous sales successes achieved together with long-time Dieffenbacher partner Hanex under the leadership of CEO Dr. Cihan Ayla, Işık Zorcu will now complete the team for Turkey. In doing so, he will initially focus primarily on supporting Dieffenbacher construction sites in Turkey and expanding the modernization and spare parts business, working closely with Hanex.
