The “Stone+tec”, International Trade Fair for Natural Stone and Stone Technology, will not be held as planned from 12 to 15 May 2021. Although it would have been possible in principle to hold the fair in compliance with the hygiene concept of the Bavarian State Government, the number of registrations did not develop as hoped in view of the current difficult worldwide situation. This decision is intended to create planning security for all parties involved at an early stage.

The organizer Nürnbergmesse announces that a “Stone+tec” in May 2021 cannot be realized as originally planned. “It was definitely not an easy decision to let ‘Stone+tec’ pause for another time. However, it is still difficult to foresee how the currently unusual situation will develop until mid-May. There is too much uncertainty in the industry as to whether the usual experience character of ‘Stone+tec’ with products to touch, competitions, award ceremonies and social exchange can be realized in this way. These concerns were also reflected in the exhibitors’ registration stands, whereupon, after much consideration, we decided to create planning security for all those involved at an early stage,” says Petra Wolf, Member of the Management Board, NürnbergMesse.
