New company celebrates its business launch

Atmos Vakuumpressen started its business operations on August 1, 2020. The owner Stefan Katzer has many years of experience in vacuum technology. Over the last eight years he has become more and more specialized in this field and is now a recognized expert for vacuum presses in the woodworking industry.

As exclusive sales partner of Global Vacuum Presses from Valencia (Spain), the new company Atmos, based in Hof, Germany, has 30 different models of vacuum presses and preheating stations in its product range. With this variety Stefan Katzer will now support customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in their daily applications. With a great flexibility in special construction, solutions are also offered if the standard product range should not suffice. Anton Nabuurs, the Dutch managing director of Global and himself a trained carpenter, has 30 years of experience in the production of vacuum presses. In addition to the woodworking industry, Global also has a strong presence in the automotive and composite industries. Well-known companies such as Rolls Royce and Bentley rely on the high quality of Global’s vacuum presses.

In addition to the classic form gluing, a vacuum press can also be used for veneering and wrapping. In combination with a preheating station, solid surface materials or plastics are gently heated and formed to fit exactly. With sublimation, Atmos offers a technique for the individualization of many materials.

At Atmos and Global, the customer and his needs are always the focus of attention. Being a welcome problem solver due to the high spirit of innovation is the declared company goal. High-quality machines and solution-oriented consulting form the solid basis for this.
