“International Global Kitchen Design Award” goes into the next round

From now until August 15, Leicht partners, architects and interior designers around the world are invited to submit their latest Leicht projects online via www.global-kitchen-design.com. After the competition returned in 2021 after a two-year hiatus, this year it’s once again “Who has the world’s most beautiful kitchen?” The search is on for innovative and inspiring kitchen designs that reflect the potential of lightweight design options, materials and functions in their implementation. New this year is that kitchen highlights will be published regularly on the Home¬page in the run-up to the final submission date. The award ceremony will take place on October 15, 2022 at the “Leicht | Welt” in Waldstetten.

The international “Global Kitchen Design” competition organized by kitchen manufacturer Leicht is unique in the kitchen industry. The kitchen projects submitted will compete directly against each other and will be judged on whether the planning and equipment are particularly convincing in terms of the high-quality, timelessly modern Leicht style. The evaluation of the projects goes through two phases: At the end of the application period in mid-August, votes can be cast for the participating kitchen designs. Afterwards, a jury of experts will select the winning project from the kitchens that have received the most votes online.

Every day, more than 1,000 kitchen planners around the world work with Leicht products. The inestimably large creative potential of these products gives rise to planning scenarios that are both clearly reduced and emotionally conceived in line with the brand identity. Leicht follows the conviction that extraordinary projects develop from an interface of quality and design aspirations, and that the “Global Kitchen Design Award” is exactly the right platform to promote them. “We are looking for partners who share this conviction with us and reinterpret it.
