ICDLI aisbl, the International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry, presented the English-language HPL Compendium to the professional public as part of its knowledge initiative on the material system HPL at the end of July. Further language versions are to follow from next year.

The English HPL Compendium, which has now been published, is a further important building block in the future transfer of knowledge about the production, processing and application of the HPL material system. It is thus possible, far beyond the German-speaking market, to impart practical knowledge to processors, suppliers and architects as well as the skilled workers of tomorrow.

The recently published textbook is accompanied by an accompanying seminar series of the HPL Academy. Module 1 of the seminar series provides basic knowledge about HPL. Due to the great success this year, the offer will be extended by further modules. The textbook is not only available in print format, but also in a PDF version, which can be downloaded free of charge from the ICDLI aisbl website www.icdli.com

The offer is rounded off with an adhesive table, which is intended in particular for the work of young scientists but also for laboratories and test facilities. It describes very clearly which adhesive systems can be used to apply HPL to various surfaces, thus demonstrating its wide range of possible applications. It is available on request from the office.
