The “Xylexpo” will not take place this year. Cepra, the “operative arm” of the organizing Italian association Acimall, announced today that the “catch-up date” of November 10 to 13, 2020 in Milan is also impossible to keep.

Acimall President Lorenzo Primultini explained in a letter to exhibitors: “Postponing the exhibition until November 2020 seemed to be the best possible solution, but the efforts of our organization in recent months and the constant monitoring of all conditions necessary to offer a successful exhibition have clearly shown that the situation in November will not yet be favorable.

With its global reach and more than one in three exhibitors and visitors coming from abroad, ‘Xylexpo’ has an international soul and vocation that would be seriously threatened by sanitary and economic conditions still unresolved in many regions of the world.

Therefore, Xylexpo is not scheduled to return until 2022. The exhibition team is already working on designing an event to create a new and more modern “digitally oriented” showcase.
