Cyber attack on subsidiary in China

A Chinese production company of Hettich has become a victim of a cyber attack through no fault of its own. As yet unknown perpetrators have penetrated the internal networks and deposited malware there.

The IT specialists of the Hettich Group, supported by external experts, are working around the clock to successfully fend off the attack and supplement the security measures of the systems. It is not yet possible to say when the Chinese subsidiary will be able to fully access all IT systems again.

Local production in China will continue. According to current knowledge, other companies of the Hettich Group are not affected. From today’s perspective, the ability to deliver to customers outside China is not restricted.
