William Christensen, CEO Industries at Rehau, will leave the company on December 31. The reasons are different views in the design and direction of the group organization. “We regret this decision,” said Dr. Veit Wagner, president of the Rehau Group SB. “Under his leadership as CEO, the turnaround at the Industries Divisions has been successful They are today again showing a very pleasing level of profitability. Now the Supervisory Board (SB) of the Rehau Group has appointed Dr. Uwe Böhlke as CEO of the newly formed Rehau Industries, which forms the umbrella for the Building Solutions, Furniture Solutions, Industrial Solutions and Window Solutions divisions and the cross-divisional Services units. He will continue to perform his previous function as COO in personal union.

In the wake of William Christensen’s departure, there will also be a change at the top of the Rehau Automotive SB. The new President will be Prof. Dr. Raimund Klinkner, who is also already a member of the Group SB. In addition, Dr. Stefan Girschik, CEO of Meraxis, a polymer distributor belonging to the REHAU Group, will be appointed to the Automotive SB as of Jan. 1, 2022. Both have many years of automotive experience.
