Awarded Gold at the “Best Managed Companies

For the first time, Jowat SE achieves the gold status of the “Best Managed Companies Award” seal of approval. For the fourth time in a row, the Detmold-based adhesives manufacturer receives the award for outstandingly managed companies, which is presented by Deloitte Private, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Federation of German Industries.

For the family-owned company, the achieved gold status is a confirmation of its corporate strategy, which is consistently focused on innovation, sustainability and value orientation. “We are very pleased to be able to carry the award as ‘Best Managed Company’ in 2023 as well,” explains Ralf Nitschke, member of the board of directors of Jowat SE, at the award ceremony on May 25, 2023 in Düsseldorf.

As a competition and seal of approval, the “Best Managed Companies” program pursues the vision of building a national and global ecosystem of excellently managed medium-sized companies. A key unique selling point of the program is its internationality: “Best Managed Companies” was launched by Deloitte in Canada in the 1990s and has since been successfully introduced in more than 45 countries.

Jowat sees itself as an innovation leader, particularly in the field of sustainability, and will expand this role. With “Jowat Green Adhesives,” the adhesives expert already has an extensive portfolio of sustainable adhesives for most application areas. Ralf Nitschke provides an outlook for the future: “By 2025, at least 80 percent of Jowat product innovations will meet our sustainability criteria – that is our goal. In this context, we will significantly increase the sales volume of our Green Adhesives, which are already setting standards in the areas of occupational safety, resource conservation and consumer protection.” From the perspective of the Jowat Board of Directors, the skilful interplay of responsible purchasing practices and supply chains with more resource-efficient production forms the basis of tomorrow’s sustainable products.
