Interzum 2025  |

Strong participation from companies, including many returnees

The time has come in two months: Interzum will take place in Cologne from May 20 to 23, 2025 and will once again bring together the international furniture supply and interior design industry. The final preparations for the world’s most important industry event are in full swing and the high registration rate confirms the relevance of the world’s leading trade fair.

From high-quality materials and surfaces to smart components and state-of-the-art technologies: Interzum covers the entire value chain of furniture production and interior design. Numerous new products are presented to the public here for the first time, making the trade fair the industry’s innovation hub.

“The strong level of registrations shows how eagerly the industry is looking forward to Interzum, despite the ongoing global economic and social challenges. As the world’s leading platform for innovation and business success, it will once again be the central meeting place for the international supplier industry, reflecting the sector in all its diversity and depth,” says Maik Fischer, Director of Interzum.

The industry-leading companies from the furniture and interior design sector will also be represented in 2025, including, for example: A. & H. Meyer, Agro International, Albrecht Bäumer, Alvic, American Hardwood Expert Council (AHEC), Arpa, Arturo Salice, Bachmann, BekaertDeslee, Blum, Bock 1, Boyteks Tekstil, Donati, Dürkopp Adler, Egger, Evoline, FGV (Formenti e Giovenzana), Finsa, Fritz Becker, Global Systems Group, Global Textile Alliance Belgium / Love Home Fabrics, Gruppo Grassi, Häfele, Hera, Hettich, Impress Surfaces, Ivars, Kastamonu, Lamigraf, Lava, Leggett & Platt, L&S, OMP, Pfaff, R. In addition, well-known companies such as Ergomotion, Fritz Kohl, Parmel, Rehau, Stanzwerk Wetter, Swiss Krono and Toppan are returning to Interzum with Interprint – a clear sign of the importance of the trade fair as a key forum for the industry.

Sustainability remains the central theme of Interzum. Under the motto “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions”, the trade fair will focus on resource cycles and biobased material innovations. Resource-conserving production processes are crucial for the future of the industry – a key topic that is reflected both in the exhibitor presentations and in the top-class event program.

A special event highlight is the stage on Boulevard Nord, which offers double the inspiration with two formats: The Interzum Trend Stage provides high-caliber, exclusive insights into market trends relating to furniture, materials and interior design. Under the umbrella of the Product Stage, top companies will present their product innovations and corporate visions at the same location. The Trend Forums also address key industry topics – from biocircular materials and smart use of resources to digital product passports.

Another highlight is the renowned Interzum Award, which honors particularly innovative products, production processes and materials from the international furniture supplier industry. At Interzum 2025, an international jury of experts will select the most outstanding solutions in four categories from 145 submissions from 80 exhibitors from 25 countries – including the new category “Rethinking Resources” for the first time. The award-winning exhibits will be presented in a dedicated exhibition on Boulevard Nord.
